Small business owners are feeling heat as the job opening is still higher despite the overall slowdown in the labor market. According to the June Jobs report, NFIB’s recently released Jobs report, 36%of the owners of small business owners reported a job that had not been collected by two points from May. This statistics emphasize the continuous challenge of attracting qualified talents in today’s competitive environment.
«Despite the slowdown in the labor market, many small business owners are still trying to attract applicants and hire open positions.»
The report has increased significantly, with 58%of small business owners attempted employment or employment in June, which is three points higher than last month. However, 86%of those who actively want to fill the positions that are reported to be actively qualified are limited. Specifically, 25%mentioned that there are no qualified candidates completely, and 25%reported that there are few appropriate applicants.
Small companies are particularly difficult to fill in skilled labor positions, and important demands are important given that 30% should be open to this category. Non -skilled vacant vacancies have not changed for five consecutive months. Job opening is especially widespread in sectors such as construction, manufacturing and transportation, and finance and agriculture face the lowest level of position.
The new job creation plan also points out cautious optimism, and Sun, where 13%of the owners of small business owners are seasonally adjusted, plans to add jobs within the next three months. However, there is a concern about labor quality while maintaining 16%due to the highest operating problems faced by small businesses. Increasing labor costs has emerged as another important concern, and 10%of the owners are cited as major problems that have increased in May.
In response to these tasks, reward strategies are rapidly developing. In June, 33%of the owners of small business owners reported that the overall reward was raised. It has been up to 7 points since January 2020, which has increased by 7 points from May. In the next three months, it represents the complex mechanics between wage inflation and the possibility of use of technical labor.
For small business owners, these statistics show the need to re -evaluate the employment strategy. Packages focused on rewards and benefits can be important for attracting the right talent while maintaining profitability. However, it is also important to recognize the challenges related to competitive labor markets in industries that are greatly dependent on competitive labor markets, especially skilled labor.
In addition, as small -scale companies try to expand their workforce, obstacles may occur in relation to budget pharmaceuticals and existing economic conditions. The owner should consider how to maintain competitiveness by providing wages as well as unique benefits, flexible work environments and technology development opportunities.
Since there is a challenge in the working environment, prior measures are essential for small business owners who want to secure the necessary talents. If you maintain information about the industry trend and adapt to hiring practices, entrepreneurs can successfully explore this complex terrain.
